We already saw GaGa's racy cover for the Spring 2011 issue of i-D Magazine and now we can enjoy the editorial, lensed by Mariano Vivanco.
The cheeky singer is wearing the same Thierry Mugler Fall 2011 mens latex coat she wore for the cover and a hip pair of mint green flared pants. As we are used to seend her, Lady GaGa has ascended on exceptionably high platforms.
That girl will never cease to come up with unique looks - form hair to makeup, she always has something up her sleeve.
The magazine delivers epic unseen photos of the pop icon, taken way back by photographer Richard Corman in 1982, just a year before she became mega-famous. Out features a whole bunch of the snaps of Madge in doing her thing in NYC
We see her strolling around the city and having fun while looking amazing and bad-ass with her trademark then - eye-catching eyebrows and curly and unruly blonde bob.
The shoot is a true gem, making us nostalgic of the "original" Madonna and her edgy,
un-autotuned songs that every rebel knew by heart.
i-D Magazine turns up the heat with its steaming Exhibitionist issue for spring 2011 featuring two of our favourite famous ladies.
Lady Gagadoes her sexy-and-crazy thing rocking beautiful painted makeup and a piece for Mugler's latest collection. The Born This Way singer is lensed by Mariano Vivanc and styled by Nicola Formichetti.
On the second cover shines Anja Rubik wearing nothing but her enviable birthsuit. She looks bolder and hotter than ever with an exaggerated winged eyeliner, berry lips and a rebellious nose ring. The photographer is Emma Summerton and the styling is by Edward Enninful.
The actress/singer looks almost too pretty wearing the "Heartbreaker" (016) shade of the lipstick, which is now said to have "an improved formula using advanced ingredients and a Color Protect technology in order to provide up to 25% more color impact than any other lipstick". This year the brand adds 12 new shades to the already wide range of dazzling colors.
TheS&M singer reminds of a haute couture siren waiting to temp the passing sailors in a skin-tight dress from Chanel's Pre-Fall 2011. She continues to seduce in the "Living Out Loud" editorial wearing sizzling designs byHerve Leger, Lanvin, DKNY and Chloe.
In the interview the fierce singer shared how her passion fo fashion began:
" When I was 14 and first started going out, i always wanted to be the opposite of everyone else. So I would go to the club in a polo T-shirt and pants and sneakers and a hat on backwards , just so I would cot be dressed like other girls.
And I got desperate for things that weren't available in Barbados. I would cut things out of magazines. I was obsessed with creating a visual with clothing and the way things are combined. "
The Italian brand outdone itself with these truly amazing dresses - each one is a unique and magnificent piece of art. Everything is very feminie and creates a beautiful hourglass silhouette. There are a lot of ruffles, fliud-like fabrics adn lace. The colors are lovely and perfect for spring : purple, pink, nude, cream and navy are just some of them.
Abbey makes the glorious creations look even more stunnig. She rocks a chic blond bob and her makeup is am example of one of the most loved trends: dark smokey eyes and nude lips.
We already saw the gorgeous photos from Chanel's “Coco Mademoiselle” campaign and now the brand gives us a senak peak of the video ad. Keira looks amazing - so chic and mysterious. Definately looking forward to the full video.
January Jones once again allures us with her beauty on the cover of March 5th's issue of The Times.
The Mad Men actress, who recently shot a steaming campaign for Versace, looks impeccable in elegant designs discusses ther character in the show, Grace Kelly and more in the interview.
On her character, Betty: “I had no idea she would become so dark, complex, and weird. I wear three petticoats and a girdle, so I literally become this very tight person….I want her storylines to be controversial. It’s no fun being good. I enjoy playing a bad character because it’s not how I am in real life. To have people dislike Betty means I’m doing my job well.”
On comparisons to Grace Kelly: “I’ve been offered a couple of TV movies playing Grace Kelly and there was no way I would touch them with a 7 foot pole. It would be career suicide. No one would watch them and come away saying anything other than, ‘She’s so not Grace Kelly.’ Cate Blanchett got it right as Katharine Hepburn, but generally it doesn’t matter how much you look like that person or how good an actor you are, it’s impossible.”
On whether she’d ever have plastic surgery: “It it makes you feel good about yourself, although I wouldn’t have anything done to my lips. I wouldn’t be averse to having something pulled back and up, but I can’t deal with the idea of my skin being taken off my face. ”
The Italian brand Fornarina delivers a gorgeous Spring/Summer 2011 lookbook with models Dioni Tabbers, who also shines in Bebe's ads, and Chloe Pridham.
The blond bombshells pose in the middle of s desert and along an exquisite white Jaguar. There is a lot of denim, floral prints, polka-dotted fabrics and cute shoes and bags- nothing too original but desirable nonetheless.
