Blake Lively For Chanel Handbags S/S 2011. First Look!

As it was announced in the beginning of the year, Blake Lively is the face of Chanel's Spring/Summer 2011 handbags collection.

Karl Lagerfeld himself lensed the campaign, the first shot of which has just surfaced. We see a darker and alluring Blake modeling the brand's the new Mademoiselle bag in red.

The Gossip Girl star replaces Lily Allen, who was Chanel's surprising choice of 2010.

Leighton Meester Uber-Chic For L’Officiel

Leighton Meester goes for an ultra sophisticated look in the March 2011 issue of L’Officiel Lithuania.

The Roommate star swaps her signature hip and youthful style, recently seen here and here, for a more grown-up and elegant look. Though the actress seems more like a thirty-something woman rather than her 24-year-old self, there is no doubt that she looks classier than ever.

Leighton is wearing designs by Gucci, Lanvin, Fendi, Jil Sander , YSL and others.

Leighton Meester Gets Geeky For Missoni Spring/Summer 2011

    Leighton Meester, one of the most sought-after stars for spring 2011, looks cute and fun in the anticipated ads for Missoni's Springs\Summer 2011 campaign.The actress rocks a geeky pair of glasses and a gorgeous smile, lensed by Juergen Teller.
   Leighton, however, is not the only celeb who was chosen by the brand. Socialites, artists, and royalty, including Eugenie Niarchos, Lissy von Thurn und Taxis, Tatiana Santo Domingo and Jaquetta Wheeler are all featured in the playful campaign, for which Angela Missoni said was inspired by the cover of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Blake, Is That You? Cosmopolitan February 2011

   Blake Lively doesn't have much luck with covers these days. First they reprint her and now this.
For it's February 2011 issue Cosmopolitan Australia played around with Photoshop quite a bit to alert Blake's pretty face, rendering her unrecognisable. The cover doesn't look bad but that's just not Blake.
  In the interview the "Green Lantern" actress talks about fer favorite fashion brands, parties, cooking and more. Check it out:

   On being a homebody: “I'm much more of a homebody than a person who goes out. I don't think i've ever been to a club other than to see a band. I don't really find it that fun...”

On why she doesn’t need a sylist: “Our costume designer (Eric Daman) has been very collaborative with us. I mean, he's a genius, he's taught me everything I know in fashion. I don't use a stylist because of him, he's shown me the ways. “

Chanel: “Things they make are so beautiful, iconic and ladylike”.

YSL: “They carry out some of Katharine Hepburn's tradition. It's womanly but it's so strong. It's masculine and feminine.”

Dior: “ It's magical, like a fairytale.”

Juicy Couture: ‘’They have such great coats for winter and cute summer dresses, too.’’

Alexander Wang: “His leather, the way thungs are ripped up and thrown in together.”

On what she does when not working: “If I'm sleeping, I just like to explore the city. Just walk around and get lost in all the amazing streets and find great restaurants. Also love going to Central Park and watching movies. I like old art films, beautiful French films.”

On baking: “I love to cook. I'm a really good baker! I'm good at cakes and brownies and I make a really amazing Dutch apple pie.”

Leighton Meester Strips For "Allure"

The "Gossip Girl" star poses in her underwear for the January 2011 issue of "Allure" magazine.

In the racy shoots Leighton is only wearing Louis Vuitton Resort 2011 Logo transparent coat and Intenzioni bra and panties from the Love Knot Collection.

In the interview the actress opens up about her wild party-girl past, love, her supposed rivalry with Blake Lively and more. See what she said:

On partying in the past: "We had craaaazy parties, we had DJ's, bands, an ice luge, a fire twirler. One of my roommates burned off her bangs on the stove trying to light a cigarette . . . I mean, drinking is one thing — overdrinking is another. And drugs are something that I do not tolerate at all. You'd be surprised how many people do it. If you go out and you're living the nightlife scene, that's what people do."
On her alleged rivalry with Blake Lively: "It's unfortunate when women are pitted against each other, like with Sex and the City. People say, 'They're jealous of each other.' Come on! They're all rich, successful, great actresses."
On her love life: "It's wonderful to be in love. And it's definitely wonderful to cuddle and have sex and get to experience life with somebody. But it's OK if you don't find him and you're 24. You can find it someday."
On the Chuck and Blair love affair:
"I can really relate to it--not necessarily because it's this dramatic, tumultuous relationship, but because the way they love each other is very real, and not for the sake of being dramatic. It's actual love. There's nobody for each other but them."
On fitness: "I hate working out for the sake of working out—it’s a chore. I hate going to the gym, and I don’t really care to do it. The one thing I love is yoga, and I do it at least four or five times a week. It’s pretty fast-paced. I never get bored."

Gossip Girl " The Witches of Bushwick" episode fashion recap

Gossip Girl has been a favourite of mine since season one and it still is despite the occasional annoying plot twists and Little J.
The ninth episope of the fourth season was centered (again) around the destruction of Serena, but this time it wasn't only Juilet - Vanessa and Jenny joined her in her evil scheme. And of course we got to see Chuck and Blair get together oh-so-romantically and break up dramatically.
If the cast didn't look so fab I'd probably lose interest in the show.
