Anja Rubik For Gap Spring/Summer 2011 Campaign

   Gap presents it's Sprng/Summer 2011 campaign, featuring the Polish beauty Monika Jagaciak and Anja Rubik, who shines in Fendi's spring ads as well.
   If there is one word for that campaign it would be simplicity. The white background almost blends with the white tops the girls wear and the only pop of color comes from the classic denim shade of the flared jeans.
  The simple concept definately works here as it gives the ads a calm beauty and charm.

Valentino For Gap

While we were drooling over Lanvin for H&M, another big fashion retailer - Gap collaborated with designers from another high-end brand in creating an affordable yet chic collection for the mass customer.

The collection was launched in the end of November. Gap presented 7 pieces desidned by Valentino's artists to celebrate the opening of the first Gap store in Milan. The clothes are said to embody the essence of both brands. Unfortunately, the access to it is limited. It is available only in Milan, Paris and London stores, but eBay is always an option if you are determined to purchase some of the pieces.

Here is what Valentino creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli say about the collaboration:
