Michelle Williams Glows In Marie Claire February 2011

Michelle Williams shines in the february issue of Marie Claire US. The beauty looks happy and glamorous wearing spring designs by Valentino, Ralph Lauren, Alberta Ferretti and more.
In the interview the "Blue Valentine" actress talks about moving on after Heath Ledger's death, her career, supportive friends and more.
It's so good to see Michelle back in high spirits after almost 3 years of grief. She is absolutely gorgeous and a great actress.
See the highlights of the interview and the shoot plus a behind-the-scenes video.

On moving on:

"I didn't work for a year. I needed to gather myself and put my life back together. I had to be dragged back to work, basically, because I finally had my life in some kind of order, and I didn't know what would happen if I introduced work into it. I had forgotten that it was worth it."
"I don't know what my version of a relationship or marriage is yet, because the typical model seems a little broken to me. At the same time, I was raised on all those princess fairy tales and I'm a romantic; I want to be a one-man girl.''

On relating "Blue Valentine" to her real life:
"I think of Blue Valentine as a cautionary tale—what happens when you stop paying attention to the reasons you loved each other in the first place, when you let the devil that's in the details eat away at the love, I was already out of the house when my parents got divorced, but you knew that the structure was going to collapse.'"

On Reese’s advice in a troubled time
“To give credit where credit is due, I was sharing a difficulty I was experiencing with Reese Witherspoon, and she said, ‘Yes, I understand, but think about how much more difficult this would be without the luxury of a reliable, steady income.”

On a changed perspective on life
“When things are difficult for me as a single parent, I always reflect on how much harder it would be if I didn’t have money—if I couldn’t afford a babysitter to go to yoga class or out to dinner with a girlfriend.”

Duffy Does Marie Claire UK February 2011

The British pop star Duffy ,born Aimée Ann Duffy, is the covergirl of Marie Claire UK's February 2011 issue.
The "Mercy" singer looks beautiful in stripes and stayed true to her signature look - flowy blonde hair and bold black eyeliner.
In the interview Duffy comes out as a very selfless artist, speaking on her work as something done solely for her fans' pleasure.
See the editoral and what she shared about fame, media attention, her future and more:

On singing for the public and not for fame:
"You know, at any given time I can walk away. It's not a problem. It can be easily arranged. If people don't want this, then I'm cool with that. I do it for others. I don't do it for myself. If people don't want the records, it's OK - it's no problemo. I don't take it personally. I'm here to serve. If I did this for myself, I'd stay at home. I'd sing in the shower. I'd eat cake and walk my dogs, and work as a waitress. That's what I'd do for myself, because it's an easy life. It's a simple life."

   On why she sings:
"I don't think I can ever answer that question. I don't know. It's just what I do. What I've come here to do. There's nothing about this that I take for myself - not one single squiddly, squiddly morsel. Nothing. Not the cashmere jumpers, not the accolades, not the pats on the back, not the money…"

On press and rumours:
"And I'm going to annoy you even more now and tell you it doesn't feel like my life. But I was bloody intrigued as to how that person had got hold of so much information. And it continues all the time. If I told you how much money I'd spent on lawsuits, you wouldn't believe it. I could buy a whole village in north Wales. I'll tell you one thing, I might not be clever in business and commerce, 'cause I'm young, but I won't let anyone f*ck around with my family. That's one thing I won't allow. Because it's not their choice. It's my choice. I'm the one who has been penning these songs for many years. It's -nothing to do with them."

On where she sees herself in 20 years:
"I don't care. I don't care about how I live my life. All I care about is how I will be remembered."
