Jessica Alba Graces Harper's Bazaar January 2011

Jessica Alba, who most recently starred in the comedy "Little Fockers", is the star of Harper's Bazzar January 2011 issue both in Australia and in Malaysia.
The 29-year-old bombshell poses in a summery shoot for Giuliano Bekor. She is wearing exclusively pieces from Louis Vuitton Resort 2011 and looks ready for a hot and glamorous  Summer. The szzling photos take place around the dazzling expanse of turquoise pool and sky at a big white house high up in Beverly Hills.
In the interview Jessica talks about the difficulties of early fame, fashion, self esteem issues, her husband and more.
See the hilights on the interview and the rest of the shoot below.

On her childhood acting:Being on set was like the first feeling I really belonged somewhere. I was never into the young actor crew thing, like I was never one of those cool people”.
On her attitude towards fashion:  “Since I was little, I’ve always been into it [fashion] but I never really knew how to wear it. It kind of took me 10 years of being an adult before I figured out how to put things together in a way that made me feel like the clothes aren’t wearing me, you know?”
On her lack of confidence:  “I used to be really shy and embarrassed, and I was a tomboy. Now I don’t care what people think and I just like to wear what I like, so it’s just a different mentality.”
On Louis Vuitton: “It’s so cool and young. I really like this resort collection. I’m a huge fan of the overall
brand and I love Marc Jacobs overseeing as creative director
On the impact of motherhood on her life : It’s changed everything. Things that used to seem really important aren’t important at all, like people’s opinions. I used to be a super-big people pleaser, always trying to get approval from everyone and wanting to make everyone happy, and I just don’t care about that anymore. After I had my kid and I took time off, I just didn’t care. Now I’m just doing what makes me happy regardless of anything.
On feeling mortal after giving birth:  I felt mortal instantIy.I used to be a bit of a daredevil and now I’m not even close to it; it’s just not worth it. I couldn’t even imagine not being 100 per cent there for my daughter. Any risk of anything happening, I won’t do it. I don’t need to ride motorcycles.”
On self critique: “I’m super-critical about myself when I’m looking at myself. Actually, I used to be a lot more critical of myself before I had my daughter, but now I just don’t really care that much. It just doesn’t matter.
On family life:  “We usually like to just do nothing because we both do so much in work,” she says. “It’s the best when we can just chill out and be with each other.”
On shooting “Little Fockers”:  “It was super-fun. I was just so excited to be part of the franchise and also to be able to be funny, because I love doing comedy.”
